Middle Tennessee dropped a tough fought game to visiting LA Tech Thursday, January 23, 2020, in Murphy Center.

The Blue Raiders rallied from a 23 point deficit to pull within seven late in the game, but it was not enough to pull out a win.

C. J. Jones and Antonio Green netted 16 points each to lead the Blue Raiders scoring, including six three pointers between them.

“I let my team down getting in foul trouble early, and I knew setting the tone early in the second half would give us a spark,” Jayce Johnson said. “When we run our base offense hard, we get tough to guard, and that’s what we did in the second half. When we get good offensive possession, we can change our defense a little and control the game.”

Middle faces Southern Mississippi Saturday, January 25, at 5pm in Murphy Center.
