Mill Creek Wins — The Mill Creek Middle bench erupts as the winning free throws are sunk with no time remaining on the clock. Mill Creek Middle School held onto their un-defeated record, narrowly eeking out a win over cross town rival Sunset Middle at Sunset Monday, January 14, 2019 with a final score of 33-32.

The Sunset Middle-Mill Creek Middle school girls game on Monday, January 14, 2019, was one of the most exciting basketball games I’ve seen in a long time. It came down to free throws after time had expired. Mill Creek trailed most of the game, only pulling ahead with a few minutes left, then Sunset scored with seconds left to take the lead. Unfortunately Sunset fouled and Mill Creek hit their free throws to win, preserving their undefeated record.
